B D Surana is the Founder & Chief Consultant of HR Equity, a well-established HR and recruitment consultancy. With almost three decades of deep industry experience, his reputation as a trusted recruitment partner is built on strategic insights, ethical practices, and a consistent record of delivering high-quality talent solutions.
Beyond his core work in Job Consulting, Mr. Surana is widely respected as a Career Mentor & Financial Guide, and a Certified Graphologist, Grapho-Therapist, and Counsellor. He is recognised for his ability to decode human behaviour through graphology, watch and pen analysis, and colour psychology — helping individuals and organisations gain deeper clarity, confidence, and direction.
He has also been honoured with multiple prestigious awards, including the HR Excellence Award (2023) from ISTD, international recognitions, and several leadership honours from Lions International and other bodies.
A published author, Mr. Surana has co-authored two self-development books — “Seven LEE of Life” and “My Marriage – Bliss vs Curse” — reflecting his commitment to personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and relationship understanding. Known for his “Constant Giver” mindset, he is deeply involved in social upliftment, youth mentoring, counselling, and community service. He serves as a Trustee of a Dialysis Centre, supporting critical healthcare needs.
